The Citation I airplane is a single engine light business jet designed, developed, and manufactured by Cessna. It was first flown in 1969 and eventually entered service the next year in 1970. It first built for private owners but quickly saw order growth from commercial airlines and corporate operators as well. This 8-passenger jet is powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney JT15D engines that offer up to 3500lbs of thrust each, and fly at speeds of up to 415 knots. With competitive short-field performance, it remains popular even after almost 50 years since its initial release. Citation I aircraft offer a perfect blend of both reliability and affordability, making them one the most dependable aircraft for passengers today.
