The Commander 690B is a light business jet aircraft manufactured by Commander Aircraft. It is capable of seating up to eight passengers and has a range of 1,800 nautical miles. It was introduced to the market back in 1962 and production on them continued until 1974 when Commander Aircraft went out of business. Commander 690B's are considered part of the G-Series lineup which included various models that Commander Aircraft had developed prior to going out of business. The Commander 690B will always be remembered as Commander Aircraft’s flagship plane, with its impressive range and quality craftsmanship, it stands at the forefront of all their previous models combined.
