At Jettly, protecting client funds is an important part of how we operate.
As required under applicable travel industry regulations, customer funds received for travel services are held in a designated trust account.
Funds held in Jettly’s trust account are maintained separately from Jettly’s general operating capital.
This means money held for future travel is not treated as ordinary operating cash. It is segregated for the purpose for which it was received, providing an additional layer of protection and financial accountability.
When a client pays Jettly for an upcoming flight, the applicable funds are held securely in trust until they are required to pay the air operator providing the flight.
For most charter flights, payment is released to the applicable aircraft operator approximately 24 hours prior to departure, subject to the specific operator agreement, payment requirements and circumstances of the trip.
Until that time, the funds remain segregated from Jettly’s general operating funds.
Funds deposited into a Jettly Wallet and held on account for future eligible travel are similarly maintained separately from general operating capital while they remain customer funds held for future travel services.
When Wallet funds are applied to an eligible booking, the appropriate amount is allocated toward that travel service and subsequently disbursed in accordance with the applicable payment requirements.
