Connect AI agents to private jet charter search and booking using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI assistants interact with real-time aircraft availability and pricing.

What is Jettly MCP?

Jettly MCP is a hosted server that gives AI tools direct access to Jettly's private jet marketplace: airport resolution, live aircraft search, and checkout handoff. It's designed to work seamlessly with AI assistants like Claude, letting a user go from "find me a jet" to a pre-filled booking page entirely inside a conversation.

High-level data flow: Jettly hosts both the MCP Server and Jettly's charter search/pricing API. The AI tool contains an MCP client that connects to the remote MCP server to access Jettly's tools.

Why use Jettly MCP?

  • Conversational booking: Users describe a trip in plain language ("NYC to Miami next Monday, 4 passengers") and the agent resolves airports, searches live availability, and surfaces real aircraft without the user leaving the chat.
  • Real pricing, not estimates: Every search returns live aircraft options with actual pricing, specs, operator info, and photos: not placeholder ranges.
  • Handles ambiguity gracefully: Major cities often map to multiple airports (New York → Teterboro, Westchester, JFK). Jettly MCP surfaces these as a clear choice instead of guessing.
  • Flexible itineraries: One-way, round-trip, and multi-city trips (up to 10 legs) are all supported through the same interface.
  • Clean handoff to checkout: When a user is ready to book, the agent generates a pre-filled Jettly checkout link rather than requiring the user to re-enter trip details on the website.

  • Search full trips in one step: Give an agent a complete trip (cities, dates, passenger count) and it resolves airports and returns available jets in a single flow.
  • Explore before committing: Ask about airports near a city ("what airports are near Cabo?") before deciding on dates or passengers.
  • Plan multi-leg trips: Round trips, multi-city itineraries, and group travel (with children, infants, or pets) are all handled through the same tools.
  • Compare aircraft: Get pricing, specs, operator details, and photos for available aircraft on a given route and date.
  • Move straight to booking: Generate a checkout link pre-filled with the selected aircraft and trip details.

airport_picker Resolve a single city or airport code when the full trip isn't known yet.
route_picker Resolve all airports and search availability in one step, once the full trip is known.
jet_carousel Search available aircraft across one or more legs using resolved airport IDs.
handoff_card Generate a pre-filled Jettly checkout URL for a selected aircraft.

airport_picker

Resolves a city name or airport code to Jettly airport records. Use when only part of the trip is known (e.g., one city named, but no date or passenger count yet). Auto-selects if there's a single match; otherwise returns candidates for the user to choose from.

Parameters: query (required): city, code, or location. country (optional): filter by country.

route_picker

Resolves every city in a trip and searches availability in one step. Use the moment the full trip is known: all cities, date(s), and passenger count.

Parameters: legs (required, 1–10): each with departure_query, arrival_query, departure_date (ISO 8601), passengers, and optional children, infants, pets.

jet_carousel

Searches available aircraft for one or more legs using resolved airport IDs (from airport_picker), returning pricing, specs, operator information, and photos.

Parameters: legs (required, 1–10): each with departure_airport_id, arrival_airport_id, departure_date, passengers, and optional children, infants, pets.

handoff_card

Generates a checkout URL pre-filled with the selected aircraft for the user to complete payment on Jettly.

Parameters: aircraft_id (required), search_id (required), metadata (optional): trip_label, trip_type, special_requests, conversation_summary.
